No, There are no fees to join REFEREE S.C.

Do I need to have a ussf referee license to join referee S.C.?

Most of all of our soccer leagues are US Soccer affiliated. If you wish to receive referee assignments from REFEREE S.C., then yes, you will need to have a current certification with US Soccer.

However, we do assign some non-US Soccer affiliated clubs/leagues/tournaments.

FAQs: CLUB / League / tournament

Does Referee S.c. only assign officials for soccer?

REFEREE S.C. and its current assignors only assign soccer.

However, our assigning platform can assign all other sports. We also have over a decade of experience working within other multi-sports official assigning companies and have direct contacts with other sports official assignors to be able to manage a sporting club, a school, a high school league, or a middle school league multi-sport needs.

What are your fees?

Every Club, League and Tournament is unique into itself and has its own set of goals, expectations, and resources. Let’s discuss how we can first meet your needs and then we can discuss further any fees.

what are the referee fees?

REFEREE S.C. likes to establish base fees structure upon a cents/per minute model. This establishes a fair structure that most assignors and payers are often unaware. From this base structure the payor may then determine if they want to be competitive within their area to attract and increase the number of higher performing referees. We will provide several different approaches to help you club improve the refereeing program within your community.

We already have a CLUB/league assignor. can you STILL help with our tournament?

Absolutely, REFEREE S.C. will communicate with your club/league assignor to ensure that the best and most promising local referees may participate in neighborhood tournaments while also attracting quality referees throughout Northern California and beyond to meet the demands needed to cover your event(s) with a sufficient number of qualified referees.

How soon can referee s.c. start?

REFEREE S.C. has been asked to manage a club’s referee assigning duties days prior to their league games starting. This is certainly not ideal for the club, community’s referees, or us. However, we have stepped up on such occasions when necessary and managed the transition successfully each time while improving the soccer community’s referee program within the first season. The more time we have to prepare with your club and the local referees then the more success we will achieve even before the new season begins.

Tournaments should secure a referee assignor several months in advance of their tournament date. REFEREE S.C. advertises to recruit referees to a tournament as much as a year in advance. We often begin pursuing referee requests and collecting applications at least four months in advance to secure as many top quality referees as possible to capture locally, regionally and even nationally interested referees.
